Accommodation

The Veloventoux house is located in a village called Faucon close to the large tourist town of Vaison la Romaine. We're just 12km from Malaucene and 24km from Bedoin at the foot of Mont Ventoux. The view of the mountain from the front garden is spectacular.
The house has 5 spacious guest bedrooms, all en-suite and we have a self contained apartment which sleeps 3 - combined we can cater for groups of up to 14 people.

Food
When it comes to eating - you're spoilt for choice. Here's a summary of all the eating options we have available.

Breakfast
We serve a cyclists friendly breakfast every morning. Cereals, fruit juice, yoghurts, bananas and seasonal fruit, coffee, tea and of course fresh bread and croissants from the local bakers.

Lunch
Most guests choose to stop and get lunch on the road and we can recommend the best restaurants and cafes for lunch relative to whichever ride you're doing that day.
If you're not staying out for lunch and arriving back early or mid-afternoon, let us know and we'll provide a light pasta meal for when you get back.

Evening Meals
Just give us 24 hours notice or let us know before you arrive and we can cook you a three course evening meal - this includes wine and coffee and we charge 25€ per person. We also do a simpler meal of pasta and a dessert, wine and coffee for 15€ per person.
BBQ's in our garden are also very popular.

The Dandelion Bar
Less than 5 Minutes walk is The Dandelion - a great bar serving good food with pasta options, steak and chips, great salads and a daily Plat du Jour.

Le Laurier
We also have another great restaurant in the village called Le Laurier. They serve traditional French / Provencale cuisine with local wines and we recommend you eat there at least once during your stay.

The Boulangerie
In the village there is a fantastic boulangerie which serves traditional home cooked dishes in the evenings such as Daube, Gratins and Aioli as well as the daily fresh cooked bread, croissants and quiches.

Pizza!
The Pizza Man! - Every Friday in the village square and Sunday outside the Dandelion Bar is our local pizza van. This is a very popular eating option as the pizzas are fantastic.
