Nice to Mont Ventoux - 7 nights

24th to the 31st of August

Starting on the Cote d’Azur close to Nice you spend 4 days riding through some of the most stunning scenery in France. The highlight of the tour being the amazing Gorge du Verdon. This is a 7 day tour with 3 days moving on each day cycling from the coast to Mont Ventoux and 4 days at the Veloventoux accommodation.

• Day 1 Arrival into Nice then short transfer to hotel in Vence
• Day 2 We leave the coast and ride to the town of Castellane via the beautiful Gorges du Loup and the Col de Bleine. A total of 85km.
• Day 3 Today will be one of the best days on a bike you will ever have. We ride from Castellane to Forcalquier via the incredible Gorge du Verdon and its famous scenic road The route des Cretes. A total of 100km.
• Day 4 Today we ride 90km  from Forcalquier to the Veloventoux base in Faucon.
• Day 5 The classic Bedoin route up Mont Ventoux then back via Malaucene
• Day 6 The 110km Tour du Ventoux
• Day 7 Mont Ventoux again via the Malaucene or Sault roads or an easier day in the the Baronnies hills to the north.
• Day 8 Transfer back to the airport.

This tour is based on flights into Nice and return flights from Marseille, Avignon or Nimes.
